Special Meeting Minutes

President Evelyn Jones called the Village Council to Order at 6:00 pm

Pledge to the Flag was recited

Roll Call:  Evelyn Jones-present, Steve Mortensen-Absent, Kathryn Kerr-present, Kayliecia Gilleran-absent

Clerk Melissa Lazzaro swore in James Soriano as President

Clerk Melissa Lazzaro swore in Kathryn Kerr and Evelyn Jones as Trustees

Kathryn Kerr made a motion seconded by Evelyn Jones to remove Evelyn Jones from all external accounts, roll call-Steve Mortensen-absent, all ayes, motion passes

James Soriano made a motion seconded by Kathryn Kerr to remove Kayliecia Gilleran and Evelyn Jones from the Isabella Bank signature cards and Safety Deposit Boxes and add James Soriano and Kathryn Kerr, roll call-Steve Mortensen-absent, all ayes, motion passes

James Soriano made a motion seconded by Kathryn Kerr to remove Evelyn Jones from the mail pick up and add James Soriano, roll call-Steve Mortensen-absent, all ayes, motion passes

Add Evelyn Jones to the Audit Committee

Add James Soriano to all committees

Kathryn Kerr will remain Pro-Tem

Kathryn Kerr made a motion seconded by Evelyn Jones to have the Meeting Room locks re-keyed, roll call-Steve Mortensen-absent, all ayes, motion passes

James Soriano made a motion seconded by Evelyn Jones to accept the Rules of Procedure as written, roll call-Steve Mortensen-absent, all ayes, motion passes

Melissa Lazzaro read a resignation letter from Kayliecia Gilleran, Council would like to thank her for her service.

Evelyn Jones made a motion seconded by Kathryn Kerr to accept Kayliecia Gilleran’s resignation, roll call-Steve Mortensen-absent, all ayes, motion passes

Evelyn Jones made a motion seconded by Kathryn Kerr to post the open Trustee Seat to the public, all applications must be turned in to the Village Office by 3:00 Tuesday December 8, 2020, roll call-Steve Mortensen-absent, all ayes, motion passes

Kathryn Kerr made a motion seconded by Evelyn Jones to send the Summons from Donnie Dennis to the Village Attorney, roll call-Steve Mortensen-absent, all yeses, motion passes

Evelyn Jones made a motion seconded by Kathryn Kerr to purchase Microsoft 365 Business for the new Office computer at a cost of $149.99/year, roll call-Steve Mortensen absent, all yeses, motion passes

Steve Mortensen arrived at 6:32

Public Comment: A resident asked if the Police Officers had a set schedule, and if anyone has been found to replace the Police Chief in January, the Officers do not have a set schedule, and no one has been found so far to replace the Police Chief.

Council Comment: Kathryn Kerr thanked Don Cole for helping the Village with leaf pick up

Steve Mortensen made a motion seconded by Kathryn Kerr to put the old Police Jeep up for sealed bids with a minimum bid of $1,000, all bids must be turned into the Village Office by 3:00pm on December 8, 2020, roll call-all yeses, motion passes

Kathryn Kerr made a motion seconded by Evelyn Jones to adjourn, roll call-all ayes, motion passes
