Special Meeting Minutes

President James Soriano called the Village Council to Order at 5:00 pm

Pledge to the Flag was recited

Roll Call: James Soriano-present, Evelyn Jones-present, Steven Hammond-present, Kathryn Kerr-present, Michelle Kundrat-present

Kathryn Kerr made a motion seconded by Evelyn Jones to hire James Durham as a Police Officer effective immediately at the starting pay rate $15.10/hr., roll call-all yeses, motion passes

Evelyn Jones made a motion seconded by Steven Hammond to reimburse Chief Morgan and Officer Durham’s hotel cost, and 2 lunches and dinners and allow them to use the Village fuel card to attend the Salvage Inspection Class in Lansing, roll call-all yeses, motion passes

Michelle Kundrat made a motion seconded by Kathryn Kerr to keep the DPW Director’s hours at 32 per week and to start work at 8:00am, roll call-all yeses, motion passes

Evelyn Jones made a motion seconded by Michelle Kundrat to allow the part time DPW worker to work up to 32 hrs. per week, roll call-James Soriano-yes, Michelle Kundrat-yes, Evelyn Jones-yes, Steven Hammond-no, Evelyn Jones-yes, motion passes

Michelle Kundrat made a motion seconded by Evelyn Jones to adjourn, roll call-all ayes, motion passes
