President James Soriano called the Village Council to order at 6:00pm
Pledge to the flag was recited
Roll call: Evelyn Jones-present, James Soriano-present, Kathryn Kerr-present, Steven Hammond-present, Lavonne Horstman-present
Public Comment: A resident asked about plowing on Rio Passeo, same problem as last month, Kathy Tucker is willing to help run the craft show for the First Responder’s Festival in July
Evelyn Jones made a motion seconded by Lavonne Horstman to go back to DPW Director using his petty cash for expenses, anything above and beyond that will need to be approved by the President and Pro tem, effective immediately, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
Minutes of Regular Meeting December 13, 2023, were presented
Kathryn Kerr made a motion seconded by Steven Hammond to approve all minutes, roll call-all ayes, motion passes
Bank Balances as of 12/31/2023-General Fund-$143,262.94, Sewer Fund-$253,759.82, Solid Waste Fund-$23,876.66, Major Street Fund-$123,805.79, Local Street Fund-$42,736.98, Motor Pool Fund-$16,249.35, Sewer Bond Interest-$1,027.16
Evelyn Jones made a motion seconded by Kathryn Kerr to pay General Fund bills with check #19569-19587, 403-410(E) for $9359.65, Sewer Fund with check #3432-3436 3093-3094(E) for $3,066.99, Motor Pool fund with check #1479-1483 for $1,099.08, Local Street Fund with check #1058 for $359.10, for a total of $13,884.82, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
Pump Station 6 still in progress
Kathryn Kerr made a motion seconded by Lavonne Horstman to accept the MDOT Resolution for the street grant, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
James Soriano made a motion seconded by Evelyn Jones to get a debit card for monthly payment for the RMS Project for the police department and accept the Credit Card Resolution needed to obtain the debit card, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
