President James Soriano called the Village Council to order at 6:00pm

Public Comment: A resident of Fork Township asked again about getting leaves from the Village Barn in the fall
Tom Brown read the DPW Report: Tom needs another backpack blower, an electric winch for the lawn mowers, a motion light for the Boy Scout Building, trash bags, and is requesting a new plow for next season.
James Soriano made a motion seconded by Evelyn Jones to purchase a backpack blower from Remus Repair for $600, roll call-James Soriano-yes, Kathryn Kerr-yes, Evelyn Jones-yes, Steven Hammond-no, Lavonne Horstman-yes, motion passes
James Soriano made a motion seconded by Kathryn Kerr to purchase an electric winch for $169, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
Evelyn Jones made a motion seconded by Lavonne Horstman to purchase a light for the former Boy Scout Building for $63, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
Evelyn Jones made a motion seconded by Lavonne Horstman to purchase 4 boxes of trash bags for $50.00, roll call-all yeses, motion passes

James Soriano made a motion seconded by Evelyn Jones to purchase a new toilet for the former Boy Scout building, not to exceed $120, roll call-all yeses, motion passes

James Soriano read the President’s Report: The roof Ferris is working on for the well in Central Park is a cap, not a pavilion style
Bank Balances as of 2/29/2024-General Fund-$125,719.07, Sewer Fund-$221,854.22, Solid Waste Fund-$23,651.02, Major Street Fund-$130,001.41, Local Street Fund-$43,327.40, Motor Pool Fund-$16,993.91, Sewer Bond Interest-$1,042.41
After the principal payment on 2/1/2024 USDA Loan Balance is $294,000, the first installment of the Dam Grant was $350,000, it was received on March 7, 2024

Evelyn Jones made a motion seconded by Steven Hammond to pay General Fund bills with check #19607-19623, 421-430(E) for $14,604.16, Sewer Fund with check #3439-3443 3100-3101(E) for $5,169.58, Motor Pool fund with check #1490-1491 for $524.23, Major Street Fund with check # 1113-1114 for $ 715.00, Solid Waste Fund with check #741(E) for $2,278.93, for a total of $23,318.90, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
