President James Soriano called the Village Council to order at 6:00pm

Public Comment: Laramore Group LLC present Council with a business plan
Minutes of Regular Meeting May 8, 2024, were presented
Evelyn Jones made a motion seconded by Steven Hammond to approve minutes, roll call-all ayes, motion passes
James Soriano read the President’s Report: Nothing at this time
Bank Balances as of 5/31/2024-General Fund-$526,710.53, Sewer Fund-$224,676.87, Solid Waste Fund-$13,366.02, Major Street Fund-$138,437.90, Local Street Fund-$31,809.52, Motor Pool Fund-$20,013.59 Sewer Bond Interest-$1,042.67
CD Balances: Sewer Reserve (53,535.61)

Tax letter ready, Delinquent sewer $28,209.83, delinquent blight $1,501.04 total delinquent to go on 2024 tax roll-$29,710.87, come up with a plan for Act 51 non-motorized, default lease update: M66 Group LLC sent an email today, they now only want one parcel
James Soriano made a motion seconded by Kathryn Kerr to accept the Blight and delinquent Sewer on tax roll Resolution, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
Kathryn Kerr made a motion seconded by James Soriano to have Courtney send all communication from M66 Group LLC to the Village Attorney, dissolve current lease, and collect all past due payments, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
James Soriano made a motion seconded by Kathryn Kerr to approve the Treasurers Report, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
Evelyn Jones made a motion seconded by Kathryn Kerr to pay General Fund bills with check #19666-19694, 450-460(E) for $30,316.08, Sewer Fund with check #3450 3109-3113(E) for $4,172.75, Motor Pool fund with check #1494-1498 25(E) for $2,637.07 Solid Waste Fund with check #746-748(E) for $3,345.89, Local Street Fund with check #18-19(E) for $738.53 and Major Street fund with check #21-23(E) for $898.21 for a total of $42,108.57, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
Pump Station 6 still in progress
Evelyn Jones made a motion seconded by Lavonne Horstman to allow Mecosta Mayhem Festival to move up to ten picnic tables from the front pavilions to the Farmers Market pavilion, and the use of the village barricades, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
Kathryn Kerr made a motion seconded by Evelyn Jones to appoint Bethany Russell as the 2024 Market Manager, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
James Soriano made a motion seconded by Evelyn Jones to turn in the application for Mecosta County Excise Tax Grant for Central Park and the Police Department, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
Public Comment: A resident asked if Tom would be working while on medical leave, he will not be
Council Comment: Hoping to have cookbooks done for Mecosta Mayhem Festival
