President James Soriano called the Village Council to order at 6:00pm

James Soriano read the DPW Report: The sand/salt mix is getting low, will just be using salt for the time being. Thank you to Jake and James for all their hard work during the ice storm, also thank you to Tommy Moore who did some volunteer plowing on Saturday January 10, 2026. Jim received the Dam Inspection report, we are not getting rid of the radial arms gate, we will be getting a new gear box, which is in our budget. James is moving out of the Village and is resigning as of February 4, 2026.

Notes from Treasurer: Recommend trash rate increase of at least $1.00 per resident, rates as of 4/1/2026 will be $15.70 and we charge $16.00. MET funds of $6,000 were received, Recommend Council review pay scales as minimum wage increased to $13.73, recommend council considers the same allotment for current DPW Director phone as the previous-$50.00/month, recommend hiring new DPW sewer person before the sewer project is in full swing
