Regular Meeting Minutes

President Daniel Cross called the Village Council to order at 6:00pm

Pledge to the flag was recited

Roll call: Michelle Kundrat, Kathryn Kerr-present, Michael Kundrat-present, Terah Eaton-present, Daniel Cross-present

Public Comment: Steven Walker from Fleis & Vandenbrink was present with answers to Mr. MacKersies questions. His questions and answers will be attached to April’s Minutes, along with a Sewer Fact Sheet which describes how the Villages sewer system works. No one from Vivid Farms LLC was present

Melissa Lazzaro suggested contacting the village attorney before going any further with investors from Vivid Farms, as the lease is with Tyler, and we are not sure if we can negotiate with anyone except Tyler.

Kathryn Kerr made a motion seconded by Daniel Cross to contact Village Attorney about lease with Vivid Farms LLC, roll call-all yeses, motion passes

 Police Report: Chief Morgan was absent, no report this month

Kathryn Kerr read the DPW Report: Jakes needs 10 split rail fence posts

Michelle Kundrat made a motion seconded by Kathryn Kerr to purchase 10 split roll fence posts, not to exceed $180, roll call-all yeses, motion passes

Kathryn Kerr made a motion seconded by Michelle Kundrat to hire Mitchell Eastman as the Wastewater Operations Manager at $16/hr. roll call-all yeses, motion passes

Minutes of Regular Meeting March 11, 2026, Special meeting March 16, 2026, Special Meeting March 26, 2026 were presented

Kathryn Kerr made a motion seconded by Michael Kundrat to accept minutes with corrections, roll call-all ayes, motion passes

Daniel Cross read the Presidents Report:  Nothing at this time

No Treasurers Report this month

 Michelle Kundrat made a motion seconded by Kathryn Kerr to pay General Fund bills with check #20091-20105 678-687(E) for $12,392.50, Sewer Fund with check #-3527-3531 3163(E) for $30,562.84,  Motor Pool fund with check #1536-1538 54(E) for $769.37, Local Street Fund with Check #1075 for $1,000, Major Street Fund with check #1124  for $1,440, Solid Waste Fund with check #778(E) for $2,850.10 for a total of $49,014.81, roll call-all yeses, motion passes

Daniel Cross made a motion seconded by Kathryn Kerr to change the current power outage pay by removing-must work 8 hours in sewer before receiving time and a half, and adding-all power outages receive a 2 hour minimum and paid time and a half, roll call-Terah Eaton-no, Michael Kundrat-no, Kathryn Kerr-yes, Daniel Cross-yes, Michelle Kundrat-no, motion fails

Daniel Cross made a motion seconded by Kathryn Kerr to participate in the Community Open House at a cost of $20, roll call-all yeses, motion passes

Public Comment: none

Council Comment: The park auction has been pushed back a few months, it will start in August

Kathryn Kerr made a motion seconded by Michelle Kundrat to adjourn, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
